The Restoration Plan

Red Door Theatre |
Our vision is two-fold:
First, to restore the structure of Trinity
Church to its original state; and
Next, to produce plays, hold readings, and
present other fine arts in the Red Door Theatre in order to
enhance the quality of life in our community and promote
Union Springs/Bullock County as a tourist destination.
Background: Just a few years ago the
city was given Trinity Church by the Episcopal Diocese.
The Tourism Council, in partnership with Troy State
University, commissioned the writing of a play, Conecuh
People, which was produced at TSU in February 2002. Out of
these two events, a vision was born for the development of
the arts and tourism in our community.
Donations
We are conducting The Trinity Campaign to
obtain funding to furnish the Red Door Theatre with the
equipment required to make it a state-of-the-art theatre,
i.e., lighting, sound, stage, etc., and to provide funding
for the production of Conecuh People, as well as future
productions and other fine arts events.
We are asking citizens and friends of our
community to help in this campaign. It is our hope that you
will read the information we have to share and ask any
questions you may have. We also hope that you will say "yes"
as you are called upon to help.
We ask for your commitment to your
community. These are exciting times. Thank you for your love
for Union Springs and Bullock County and the citizens they
serve.
